Job Description: * In order to support Corporate Security, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a * Head of Executive Protection and Fleet Services (D) (d/f/m) In this role, you will develop and implement robust security strategies, concepts and protocols that protect our senior executives and VIPs, while ensuring that our fleet operations are efficient, cost-effective and resilient. Reporting directly to the HO Security Management, you will act as a key liaison with AD Procurement, Travel Security and other Corporate Security entities, driving the integration of advanced security measures across the organisation. The Alps and Lake Starnberg are within an hour’s reach, offering a multitude of recreational options. * Your benefits * Attractive salary and special payments * 30 days paid vacation and extra days-off for special occasions * Excellent upskilling opportunities and great international, group wide development prospects * Special benefits: employer-funded pension, employee stock options, discounted car leasing, special conditions for insurances, subsidies for public transport, employee benefits at cooperating companies * On-site-facilities: Kindergarten close to the site, medical officer for check-ups and other health-related services, canteen and cafeteria, gym * Compatibility of family & work (job sharing, part-time models, flexible working hours, individual timeout) * Working in a diverse environment, with more than 140 nationalities, where every voice is heard Your tasks and responsibilities * Lead the Executive Protection & Fleet Services Team, develop and manage the department's budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maintain and enhance fleet operations and executive protection services. * Define and drive a comprehensive security strategy for both executive protection and fleet operations that aligns with corporate objectives and industry best practices. * Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of executive protection protocols. * Supervise and mentor security drivers and protection officers, ensuring rigorous training, operational readiness and strict adherence to security standards. * For the vehicles included in the scope of fleet protection, ensure all vehicles are safe, secure, fully operational and managed in a cost-effective manner to support seamless executive travel. * Conduct regular travel and transportation risk assessments and threat analysis to proactively identify vulnerabilities. * Develop and enforce risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to ensure readiness in high-risk situations. * Work with the wider security team to coordinate emergency response strategies and ensure a consistent approach across the organisation. * Represent Corporate Security in interactions with Procurement and other Group functions . * Prepare and deliver concise, data-driven reports and updates to senior management (including the Head of Corporate Security) on fleet performance, security risks and incident response. * Act as the primary point of contact for executive protection issues, ensuring clear communication and effective cross-departmental collaboration. Desired skills and qualifications * Extensive experience in executive protection, fleet management, or a related security field, with proven experience leading high-risk security operations for senior executives. * In-depth knowledge of security protocols, risk management strategies, and transportation logistics. * Management experience with proven ability to lead and motivate high-performing security teams. * Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with fluency in both English and German. * Proven negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex security concepts into clear strategic recommendations to senior management. * Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem solving, continuous improvement and decision making under pressure. * Familiarity with fleet management software, security systems and data-driven reporting tools. * Strong analytical skills to interpret risk assessments and operational data to drive continuous improvement in security practices. * Highly discreet, professional and able to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality. * Not a 100% match?
