Job Title: Veterinary Radiologist, or residency trained clinician in diagnostic imaging. Part-Time (2 days a week), 1-year fixed-term contract. Anticipated start date: 4st August 2025. Location: Bristol Vet Specialists, Unit 10, More Plus, Central Park, Madison Way, Severn Beach, Bristol BS35 4ER About Us: Join the diagnostic imaging team at Bristol Vet Specialists! We are a leading multidisciplinary referral centre, based in Central Park, Avonmouth, Bristol. Covering over 30,000 square feet, we are custom built with uniquely designed facilities and the latest cutting-edge equipment. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care and diagnostic services to our patients. Our diagnostic imaging team consists of 5 ECVDI-boarded veterinary radiologists, 1 resident in diagnostic imaging and 3 skilled radiographers. Our team is supported by a highly qualified and experienced nursing team. Our Equipment: 1.5 Tesla Siemens Sempra MRI 64 slice Siemens go.TOP CT scanner GE LOGIQ E10 ultrasound scanner Fully digital radiography and fluoroscopy suite Mobile ultrasound unit for point-of-care ultrasound procedures Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Radiologist to join our team on a 1-year fixed-term, part-time basis, ideally starting on 4th of August 2025. The candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic imaging and a passion for providing excellent patient care. Although the role is most suitable for a board-certified veterinary radiologist, applications by ECVDI or ACVR residency-trained clinicians will also be welcome and considered. Responsibilities: Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and radiography Collaborate with other veterinary specialists and radiographers to provide comprehensive care Participate in case discussions and supervise a diagnostic imaging resident Ensure accurate and timely reporting of imaging results Contribute to the continuous improvement of imaging protocols and practices Participate in the practice's out-of-hours radiologist rota Requirements: Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom Current RCVS registration (MRCVS) ECVDI or equivalent board certification in veterinary radiology, or residency trained clinician Excellent English language communication skills Benefits: Competitive salary Supportive and collaborative work environment Access to state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging equipment Generous CPD allowance Further information on the hospital can be found on our website at https://www.bristolvetspecialists.co.uk/ To apply: Click on the Apply Now button to apply for this role.
