VACANCY DESCRIPTION:Mount Horeb Christian School (MHCS) is seeking a candidate for the upcoming 2025-26 school year in our Middle School to teach English Language Arts. Mount Horeb Christian School's 4K-8th grade campus includes four classrooms of grades K-1st, 2nd, 3rd-4th, and 5th-8th. The ideal candidate will prayerfully help students learn attitudes, skills, and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible Christians to the praise and glory of God. Mount Horeb Christian School (MHCS) was founded in 2019 to serve the town of Mount Horeb and the surrounding communities. In July 2023, MHCS officially became an independent Preschool-8th Grade school, and in 2024, we expanded our campus to include preschool programs. Our school provides a safe, caring, and Christ-centered environment for students in grades K-8, as well as 3K and 4K preschool programs. Must hold a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university. Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Association of Christian School International (ACSI) teaching certification. PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: ACSI Certified Teacher. State of Wisconsin certifiedTeacher. Three to five years of classroom teaching experience. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Part-time salary $37,612-$45,000, Depending on Experience (Prorated based on FTE) Position as a Middle Teacher is 0.6 FTE (additional FTE may be possible with the ability to teach extra classes and extra subjects).
