Pay Information $2,846 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day, 5x8-Hours Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 15:30 Experience: - Current independent PACU, Emergency Department, Surgical Critical Care, Surgical ICU, or Surgical IMC experience. - Experience in surgical general care with adult populations or recent inpatient pediatric experience if working in Pre/Post/PACU. - Completed two years of acute care experience within the last three years. License: - Current nursing license. Certifications: - BLS and PALS certified through the American Heart Association. Must-Have: - Basic Arrhythmia experience for telemetry positions, with a passing score on a telemetry test prior to starting. Description: - Responsible for independent peri-anesthetic management of complex surgical and procedural pediatric populations. - Care for a varied caseload of surgical and procedural patients. - Flexible shifts include weekdays, with rotating evening shifts if necessary. - Call responsibilities include being on call during weeknights, weekends, and holidays. - Orientation includes 20 hours of training. - Travelers may float to other units as needed and will have shifts scheduled based on current staffing needs. - Must be able to report to the charge nurse within a specified response time if called. - Orientation schedule is held every other week, typically starting on a Monday, but may vary based on department needs. - Compliance with all testing requirements is mandatory, including a telemetry exam with strict passing criteria. - Competency in telemetry must be maintained throughout the contract period. 27568009EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS PALS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Exposure to a variety of cases and healthcare environments improves your clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
