Knysna River Club, a serene and well-loved resort nestled on the banks of the beautiful Knysna Lagoon, is looking for a dedicated Resort Caretaker to join our team. About Us Knysna River Club offers a unique blend of peace, nature, and comfort to our guests. Surrounded by indigenous forest and the tranquil river, our resort is a haven for relaxation, and we take pride in maintaining it to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of the resort grounds, chalets, and facilities Conduct routine inspections and coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance Monitor safety, security, and cleanliness standards across the property Manage a small maintenance and housekeeping team Provide hands-on support in areas such as plumbing, painting, gardening, and general repairs Assist with guest needs and ensure a welcoming, well-kept environment Liaise with management on operational needs and budgets Requirements Proven experience in property or facilities maintenance, preferably in hospitality Strong technical skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.) Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Good communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated, reliable, and physically fit Must reside within close proximity Valid drivers license
