About the role: Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, supplier relationships, COGS, rosters, and back-of-house leadership. Start by leading a casual yet refined eatery while immersing yourself in systems, team dynamics, and brand standards. Drive menu development and culinary vision for a polished, French-style restaurant launching within months. Play a key role in recruitment, fit-out, and the setup of future venues with a focus on events and catering. Contribute to the rollout of private dining, at-home chef experiences, and large-scale events in the near future. Collaborate closely with passionate founders, serious operators in the hospitality industry with proven track record of successful and award winning venues, building a business with long-term vision and real community impact. About you: Proven experience with a minimum 3 years Head Chef level in quality restaurants, ideally with a strong foundation in French or Italian technique, events and multi-outlet management. A creative and self-driven leader, excited by the opportunity to help shape multiple concepts. Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, cost controls, supplier negotiations, and team leadership. Personable, professional and collaborative attitude, confident in guest-facing moments like private events or hosted dinners. Ready to relocate and enjoy a lifestyle shift in the vibrant Southern Highlands. Full working rights in Australia are required.
