Job Title: Radiation Therapist Job Specialty: Radiology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day - 8x5 - 7 AM Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: Not specified Must-Have: - Experience with Varian Truebeam and Mosaiq systems Job Description: - Work as a Radiation Oncology Therapist in an outpatient department. - Join a cohesive team of 9 staff members, including 3.5 radiation therapists, 1 registered nurse, 1 front desk staff, 1 dosimetrist, 1 physicist, 1 manager, and 2 radiation oncologists. - Manage an average daily patient load of 18-25 on-treatment patients. - Utilize advanced equipment, including Varian Truebeam, VisionRT, and GE CT. - Employ the Mosaiq electronic medical record system for patient management. - Perform various radiation therapy procedures, such as 3D, IMRT, TBI, DIBH, and SRS/SBRT. - Adapt to a fast-paced environment while maintaining high organization and ease. - Contribute to a department recognized for its strong patient satisfaction and diverse treatment techniques, including DIBH breast, SBRT/SRS, and total body irradiation. - Benefit from working in an ACR-accredited department with state-of-the-art technology, alongside experienced staff with strong focus on quality care. - Participate in treatments that incorporate advanced technology like 6 degrees of freedom and 4D scans for breath-hold techniques.
