Senior Civil Engineer

Job Description Job Description Position summary: We are seeking a motivated senior-level engineer with a minimum of 7-years of experience (10 years preferred) to support the planning, design, and implementation of river, floodplain, and wetland restoration projects in tidal and fluvial environments. As a project manager, you will lead junior engineering staff and oversee tasks such as topographic surveying, drafting, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, engineering calculations, report preparation and construction observation. We provide reasonable accommodations to individuals to be able to perform their work. We work in the field year-round, with more intensive field work during the in-water work period for construction (July-October). Field work is performed outdoors, in inclement weather, and sometimes at active construction sites. Some projects are in remote and rugged terrain with limited to no cell phone service. Candidate is expected to be capable of walking on rough terrain and in small creeks and rivers caring survey gear and other field equipment.
