Employer Description Private Game Reserve Lodge Job Description Our client is looking for a passionate, skilled and guest-oriented Horseback Guide to join their dedicated team and deliver unforgettable riding safaris through the African bush. Key Responsibilities: Lead safe, informative and engaging horseback safaris for guests of varying riding experience Care for and manage a herd of well-trained safari horses, including daily checks, feeding, grooming and general upkeep Ensure guest safety and comfort at all times during rides and lodge interactions Assist with bush activities, lodge hosting and guest engagement as required Support general lodge duties and bush maintenance when not guiding Qualifications 2-3 years experience as a Horseback Guide FGASA Level 1 and valid First Aid Certificate Valid PDP and drivers license Skills Strong horse-riding ability and sound horse care knowledge Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Passionate about wildlife, conservation and guest experience Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team Comfortable working in a remote bush environment Benefits Live-In
