We are currently seeking a dedicated Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to fill ongoing locum tenens positions starting August 2025. The facility offers 24-hour call coverage, with no clinic responsibilities, focusing solely on inpatient care. Job Responsibilities: Provide 24-hour call coverage from 7 AM to 7 AM. Document patient contact hours, including call-back hours. Maintain clear records of reasons for call-backs and supporting notes for timesheet entries. Respond to patient needs within a 30-minute call response time. Ensure compliance with documentation standards for audits. Participate in an inpatient rounding as assigned. Facilitate smooth communication with the medical staff and other healthcare providers. Qualifications: Current board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required. Active medical license in North Carolina. Clean history to qualify for emergency privileges. Previous experience in providing inpatient care preferred. Ability to document and justify call-back hours efficiently. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. License and Certification Requirements: Active license to practice medicine in North Carolina. Current board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
