Events Assistant Department: Linked Light Pulse Employment Type: Full Time Location: Kansas, MO Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 / year Description Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Events Assistant to support the planning and execution of corporate and private events. In this role, you will assist with event logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site operations to ensure successful event delivery. The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities: Assist in planning, organizing, and executing events from concept to completion Coordinate with vendors, venues, and service providers to ensure seamless event execution Manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics to meet client expectations Handle event-related administrative tasks, including contracts, invoices, and schedules Support marketing and promotional efforts related to events Ensure all necessary materials, equipment, and supplies are prepared before events Provide on-site assistance during events to ensure smooth operations Conduct post-event evaluations and prepare reports on event success and areas for improvement Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Skills & Qualifications: Experience in event planning, hospitality, or a related field preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Detail-oriented with a proactive and resourceful mindset Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software is a plus Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred Benefits Benefits: Competitive salary Opportunities for career growth and professional development Health and wellness benefits Paid time off and holidays Dynamic and collaborative work environment
