Senior IT Technician

Successful Network of Restaurants and Taverns in Cape Town is looking for a Senior IT Technician to Head of their IT support team. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Technician, located in Cape Town. The Senior Technician will be responsible for the below: Knowledge and Experience Understanding of pos systems Add and register employees Reporting and site management Setup and manage pos databases Integrate third party services Configure network and serial printers Technical troubleshooting and day to day support Microsoft operating systems from Windows 11 up until Windows Server 2022 but not limited Ability to build, maintain and repair computers, laptops and servers Strong fundamentals of networking and understanding of WLAN, VOIP, WAN and LAN environments. Design, configure and maintain network infrastructure i.e. Fortinet, Mikrotik, L3 network switches, Dell Servers, etc. but not limited Qualifications and Attributes Punctual and Presentable Strong work ethic and quick leaner Ability to work under pressure and motivated Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Relevant certifications or qualifications in IT NB. Must have a valid drivers license Pilot experience would be an advantage
