Job Description
As the Financial Manager, your duties and responsibilities could include the following: Develop and drive financial management strategies to ensure optimal efficiency and performance across the business Compile accurate management accounts, variance analyses and cash flow forecasts Oversee the finalization of audited annual financial statements Negotiate favourable banking facilities and maintain strong relationships with financial service providers Monitor and report on production costs and ensure consistent, accurate stock management processes Plan, coordinate, and lead internal and external audits Aim for smooth execution and minimal findings Lead, mentor and develop the finance team to unlock their full potential and achieve performance goals Oversee the procurement function Ensure compliance with internal controls and cost-efficiency standards Provide financial insights and support CAPEX and investment decisions Analyse profitability Ensure full statutory compliance across all financial areas Oversee the companys IT systems to ensure effective, secure, and efficient financial operations Skills & Experience: Completed SAICA articles 7-10 years post article experience Knowledge of accounting, auditing and taxation IFRS knowledge would be advantageous Basic knowledge of IT system functionality Qualification: Registered CA(SA) Contact JENELLE COOKSON on
