Job Opportunity: Supply Chain Officer at Thales Avionics Services Worldwide (Italy) Located in Vergiate, Italy, Thales is a global leader in aerospace, transportation, defence, security, and space. Our team in Vergiate manages the Avionics (AWS) domain, focusing on front desk reparations for civil and military operators, support both on the ground and in flight, and technical support for aircraft developers, operators, and maintenance centers. Job Objective The Supply Chain Officer will oversee activities related to the management of on-board reprogramming modules, including reception, delivery, and reprogramming activities. Key Responsibilities Receive all equipment arriving at the site, for programming or consignment. Perform visual and documentation inspections according to company procedures. Open associated files within our ERP system (SAP R3). Verify shipment bills, orders, and quality documents. Coordinate with central teams for activities such as programming or consignment. Decide on activities to be performed based on previsions. Perform programming activities as decided. Prepare quality documentation for equipment release. Conduct conditioning and packaging activities for shipment. Prepare invoices and shipment documentation. Interface with customs agents and coordinate with transportation companies to ensure shipment delivery. Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Qualifications: High school diploma with a specialization in supply chain (2 or 3 years). Experience: First experience in supply chain activities is a plus; junior candidates are accepted. Skills: Proficiency in Office Suite, basic programming, SAP knowledge is a plus; IT-savvy; Languages: Italian (fluent), basic English, French (notions) is a plus; teamwork and adaptability; aeronautical culture is appreciated.
