A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented * Forklift Operator. * This role offers career growth, a supportive work environment, and full-time hours (40 per week). * If interested in this * * Forklift Operator position APPLY NOW for IMMEDIATE consideration * * Brittney Blackman | * * * *bblackman@alinestaffing.com* * * * | text 5867107970 * * Forklift Operator | Details and Compensation: * * * Location: * Plainfield, IN 46168 – 100% on-site * * Payrate: * $18.75/hr * * Required Availability: * 2nd Shift | 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM * Forklift Operator | Summary and Highlights: * Seeking motivated and safety-conscious individuals for Forklift Operator positions on the 2nd shift at a fast-paced distribution center. * This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs * Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance * A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates *Forklift Operator | Responsibilities:* * Safely load and off-load inbound and outbound shipments using Warehouse Management System (WMS) * Identify and report discrepancies between inventory and shipping/receiving documentation * Ensure pallets are handled in a safe and damage-minimizing manner * Retrieve products and replenish picking locations as required * Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, acting as a backup during absences or vacations* * *Forklift Operator | Requirements*: * Education: High school diploma or equivalent. * Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days. * 1 year of relevant warehouse experience required * Experience operating multiple types of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including order pickers, reach trucks, counterbalance, slip and clamp, and dock stocker preferred * Must be able to obtain forklift certification * Familiarity with RF scanners and distribution documentation * Proficient PC usage and general distribution knowledge * Strong initiative, organizational, and prioritization skills *Physical Demands:* * Regular activities include walking, standing, kneeling, reaching, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and repetitive hand/finger motion * Must have sufficient vision (corrected to 20/40) and hearing to operate MHE safely * May occasionally be required to climb and work near mechanical equipment *Work Environment:* * Moderate to loud noise levels * Frequent exposure to moving mechanical equipment and variable temperatures * Occasional exposure to airborne particles or fumes* * *Take the Next Step *Join a company that values your growth and contributions.
