Job summary Aria Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join their team at Claydon House, a 49-bedded Residential, Dementia, and Nursing Home in Lewes. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating fresh, nutritious meals for the residents by utilizing the best available ingredients. This is a part-time role with straight shifts and no evenings, offering a competitive hourly rate of £12.85. Main duties of the job The Sous Chef will support the Head Chef, lead by example, and showcase their creative flair to deliver high-level hospitality. The role includes a fully supported induction to develop the technical skills required in healthcare and an opportunity to mentor the team through Aria Care's Chef academy. Person Specification Qualifications Essential The successful candidate should have previous experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent, with a passion for creating fresh, nutritious meals. A strong understanding of healthcare catering and the ability to work collaboratively with the wider team are also desirable. The role may require a DBS check.
