About the facility An Inpatient Psychiatric Unit is seeking a Psychiatrist to provide coverage 35 hours per week. About the facility location The facility is located in Westchester County, New York. About the clinician's workday This inpatient adult psychiatry position offers flexible weekday hours, ranging from 7:30 a.m.3:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.4:30 p.m., with no call requirements. The provider will manage a caseload of 1012 patients, with an average inpatient length of stay of 15 days. The unit has 29 beds and is staffed by 2 psychiatrists and 1 psych NP. The facility uses Cerner as its EMR system. Both board-certified and board-eligible candidates are welcome. Typical cases involve adult inpatient psychiatry. The broader health system includes 35 full-time psychiatric providers, consisting of 25 psychiatrists and 10 psychiatric NPs. Telepsych services are not utilized.
