Assistant Project Manager Position Overview The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager in overseeing and executing commercial construction projects from start to finish. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing project schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing construction projects Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members Monitor project progress and report on status Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with safety standards (OSHA) Utilize project management software (Procore, Bluebeam) to track project details Assist in budget management and cost tracking Participate in meetings with clients and stakeholders to provide project updates Support the Project Manager in managing risks and resolving issues that arise during the project Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or related field Experience in commercial construction projects Familiarity with project management tools such as Procore and Bluebeam Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Basic understanding of OSHA regulations and compliance Preferred experience with various construction types including healthcare, retail, residential, and hospitality Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Benefits Personal Time Off Paid Sick Days Paid Holidays Paid Mental Health Day 401K Match Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits Commuter Benefits Flexible Spending Accounts Bonus incentives Spacious office with great views of NYC!
