Job Overview As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to expectant mothers before, during, and after childbirth. You will work in a dynamic healthcare environment that focuses on maternal health and newborn care. Key Responsibilities: Monitor the health of mothers and babies during labor and delivery Assist with pain management techniques for laboring mothers Educate new mothers on postpartum care and newborn feeding Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe deliveries Provide emotional support to patients and families throughout the childbirth process Skills: Proficiency in medical terminology related to labor and delivery Experience in acute pain management for laboring women Knowledge of infant care practices and procedures Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Cerner Ability to work effectively in a Level II Trauma Center setting Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and colleagues 27680540EXPTEMP Job Requirements PA State or Compact RN license 2 years of Experience As a RN - Labor and Delivery BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) NRP 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Confront diverse medical cases that challenge and expand your skill set.
