Desired Experience and Qualification: Bachelors degree in Culinary Arts or an equivalent professional culinary qualification 810 years of progressive experience in the culinary field Minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role, with mandatory fine dining experience Proven proficiency with GAAP Point of Sale systems A valid drivers license Skills and Competencies : Exceptional leadership and team development abilities. Strong culinary creativity and innovation. High level of attention to detail and quality control. Excellent time management, organization, and multi-tasking skills. Strong understanding of cost control, menu costing, and inventory management. In-depth knowledge of health & safety and food hygiene regulations. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to perform under pressure and maintain composure during busy service times. Responsibilities Include: Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations and ensure consistent food quality and presentation. Develop and implement creative, seasonal, and cost-effective menus. Manage and train kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Monitor food preparation and production to meet quality and service standards. Maintain stock control and manage ordering in line with budget and business needs. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene standards. Collaborate with management on cost control, menu engineering, and supplier management. Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor offerings.
