At ING we are looking for Data Governance Expert Your role and work environment: We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Data Governance Expert to join our Data Enablement Team of Data Management Tribe The responsibility of this team is together with other experts, to build, define, and deploying our new Data platform governance capabilities, in order to provide clear view on policies compliance and supporting all areas of the bank USING the 5 Right's principles (The right data is in the right place at the right time for the right people on the right way). Your key responsibilities: As a Data Governance Expert you will: Support new initiatives on activities and outputs expected to meet ING framework related to data. Ensure the correct metadata is available to meet the ING policies and controls, including the classification, exchange and definitions inputs. Ensure data traceability complies to the minimum requirements defined, depending on the criticality of the paths and consumptions. Contribute as a key member of the squad, you will provide a broad knowledge on reference data and how to govern and enable standard values on a cross user perspective and ad hoc basis. In collaboration with different squads and technical team, define new requirements over Data Management Framework (WoW, Glossary, Metadata, Data Quality, Governance…) and improvements to be made in the processes to achieve process excellence. Data Governance tooling (Collibra, or others such as Informatica, IGC, Atlan, etc.) Data catalog or dictionaries experience including business terms, reference data values, and functional metadata associated to technical assets such as Oracle tables and columns. 5 years of experience on data governance and metadata management. Advanced level of English. Advanced level of Excel & Powerpoint. Microsoft Excel knowledge including files preparation and review ensuring quality of the product. Paying attention to details and being able to detect possible errors. Desired: Banking sector experience Reporting tools experience (ie. Cognos, PowerBI, Microstrategy) Certifications related to data governance and metadata Written skills of Spanish SQL Knowledge Data Stage (IBM ETLs tooling) What do we offer?
