POSITION DESCRIPTION: A welcoming seniors' residence in Montérégie, offering an ideal, comfortable, and safe living environment, is currently seeking a Recreation Assistant. Permanent part-time position, between 12 and 16 hours per week, daytime from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in 4-hour blocks per day on weekdays and weekends. ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the leisure manager in their duties Carry out all related tasks requested by the recreation manager Collaborate with the different departments of the residence to make things easier for everyone Disseminate the activities calendar to residents Recreation Animate and oversee supervision during the activities Decorating the premises for special events Promote activities related to the residents Welcome the residents and invite them to participate in the activities EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Training related to the leisure sector (an asset) Relevant experience of at least one year in a similar position A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (an asset) Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset BENEFITS: Salary to be discussed Free parking Referral Program Sick days and time off for family obligations Vacation Group insurance Career Opportunity Terrace and picnic area for employees A welcoming and tight-knit team!
