Part-time Cook

Les Jardins le Flandre, located in Limoilou, is a residence that welcomes independent and semi-independent seniors. We are currently looking for a part-time cook. The residence is easily accessible by public transportation, has a stable schedule, shifts always finish early, and friendly managers :) POSITION DESCRIPTION: Schedule: Part-time daytime position with every other weekend Salary: To be discussed ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate in the preparation of menus by proposing ideas Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment is maintained according to hygiene and sanitation standards Make sure to optimize the use of foodstuffs in compliance with quality standards Participate in the assembly of the plates Peel and cut vegetables for meals Perform other related duties See to the preparation of cold dishes and desserts EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Good communication A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in institutional cuisine or equivelent Level of spoken language: intermediate French Written language level: intermediate French BENEFITS: Floating days off Social leave Vacation Human management approach Consistent schedule A welcoming and tight-knit team!
