The role Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, the City Manager is a unique opportunity to join the Italian Commercial team. You will build relationships with restaurant partners in your area, enhance our customer proposition, and identify growth opportunities. This role suits someone who enjoys relationship-building and data-driven insights for growth. You will be based in Florence or nearby cities . What you'll do: Be the local expert for your city(s), understanding the restaurant industry and representing Deliveroo locally. Use data insights to improve customer propositions neighborhood by neighborhood. Manage top restaurant partners, lead negotiations, and optimize partner performance for growth. Coordinate with local account managers to promote local hero brands. Design and execute city signing strategies for success. Own the City/Cities P&L, understanding KPIs and influencing key metrics. Develop local sales strategies, identify value gaps, and focus areas. Improve our local customer offering through knowledge of local market, restaurant operations, and strategic planning. Maximize marketing opportunities by encouraging restaurant participation. Requirements: At least 4 years of experience in account/relationship management, sales, or strategy roles. Results-oriented with a focus on targets. Understanding and managing P&L. Business acumen and data-driven approach. Combination of field work (2-3 days/week) and office/home working. Strong relationship-building and communication skills via face-to-face, phone, or email. Why Deliveroo?
