At CBRE, you have the opportunity to carve your own path and realize your full potential. About the Role The professional sought will be included in the Hotels - Valuation team of the Milan office. Must be able to ensure the professional performance of all the valuation activities aimed at assessing the correct value of hotels and other operational properties, both through the application of the valuation methods and the collection and analysis of market data, as well as valuation reports review. Responsibilities Planning and carrying out valuation activities with a focus on the hospitality sector, taking care of the various steps independently until the completion of the process in compliance with the Practice Area Guidelines and the specific requirements of each job as well as the agreed timeline. Taking care of the retrieval of documents which are necessary to carry out the activity, interacting directly with clients. Carrying out technical inspections independently, complete interviews with stakeholder where possible. Carrying out accurate market analyses and surveys, aimed at retrieving data on the performance of comparable hotels to the subject property and/or will guide more junior resources in carrying them out. Independently carrying out real estate valuations, using methods and principles of general acceptance according to international standards (comparative method, income method, discounted cash flow method, transformation method, cost method) while maintaining complete compliance with the RICS Red Book. The valuation and related report will then be subjected to a consistency check by the line manager. Depending on the type of activity, will draft the valuation report independently or incorporate and revise sections of the same possibly prepared by more junior members of the team. Independently present the outcome of the analyses to the clients with the support of the line manager. Proactively collaborate with the broader Valuation and Technical Due Diligence team in the conduct of valuation activities. Will demonstrate commercial acumen and a willingness to collaborate with other service lines with a view to providing the client with an integrated service on several fronts. Will conduct the activities according to the company policies and procedures (Green Book/Practice Area Guidelines) that will be represented in the induction phases (conflict check, risk assessment, job opening form, creation of assignments, etc.). Will have the role of mentor and coach towards the junior members of the team. Qualifications Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Finance. 3 to 5 years of experience as valuer/consultant in the real estate industry, in consulting firms, asset management companies, real estate funds. Previous experience in the hotel sector will be considered a plus. Previous experience on technical due diligence activity will be highly valued. Any registration with RICS or the relevant professional order/register (optional). Any Master's degree in Real Estate or Real Estate Finance (optional). Excellent knowledge of Italian and English (written and spoken - mandatory). Additional foreign language knowledge will be considered a plus. Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point - mandatory). Required Skills Strong orientation towards customer satisfaction, consolidation of relationships with customers, and the achievement of company objectives. Curiosity and ability to proactively cooperate with the members of the Hotels team and the Valuation team both at domestic level and international level for the performance of the activities to be conducted as a team. Consolidated ability to relate to the outside world (Clients) for the execution of its activities. Availability to travel throughout the national territory, B driving license (possibly with a car). Willingness to conduct any short training periods in collaboration with CBRE offices on an EMEA scale.
