The role Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, the City Manager is a unique opportunity to become an integral part of the Italian Commercial team. You will build relationships with restaurant partners in your area, enhance our value proposition for customers, and identify avenues for continued rapid growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys relationship-building and analyzing data to guide expansion. You will be based in Trieste or nearby cities . What you'll do: Become the local expert for your city (or cities), understanding the restaurant industry thoroughly and representing Deliveroo locally. Use data insights to improve our customer offering neighborhood by neighborhood. Manage top restaurant accounts, lead negotiations, and optimize partner performance for growth. Collaborate with local account managers to develop local hero brands. Identify and onboard new popular local restaurants, setting them up for success. Develop local sales strategies, focusing on closing value gaps and areas needing attention. Enhance customer experience through local knowledge, including optimizing restaurant selection and operations, and working on strategic plans with regional teams. Maximize marketing opportunities by encouraging restaurant participation. Requirements: 3-4 years of proven experience in account/relationship management, sales, or strategy roles. Results-oriented and target-driven. Proficient in analyzing restaurant and city performance data to identify improvement areas. Ability to work both in the field (2-3 days/week) and remotely. Excellent relationship-building and communication skills via face-to-face, phone, or email. Why Deliveroo?
