About the Role As an Investment Analyst / Data Scientist, you’ll play a key role in analysing opportunities, supporting deal execution, and driving strategic asset repositioning—particularly across shopping centres and retail parks. You’ll collaborate with investment, execution, and asset management teams to deliver insights that directly inform real-world investment decisions. Key Responsibilities Deal Execution Assist in underwriting, financial modelling, and transaction due diligence Support the preparation of term sheets, structuring documents, and pitch materials Financial Modelling & Valuation Build and maintain financial models (DCF, IRR, NPV) Perform asset appraisals and market benchmarking Analyse repositioning strategies for commercial and retail assets Data Analytics & Market Intelligence Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets (sales, footfall, demographics) Deliver dashboards, reports, and visualisations for decision-making Contribute to leasing and marketing strategies using data-driven insights Asset Management Support Identify prospective tenants and support leasing strategy Track asset performance, forecast cashflows, and model repositioning impact Assist with investor and stakeholder reporting Candidate Profile Essential Strong quantitative background with a degree in Finance, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or similar Solid financial modelling skills and proficiency in Excel Experience with Python (or other analytical tools) Interest in property, investment, and applied data science Self-motivated, analytical thinker with a collaborative mindset Preferred Experience in real estate, investment banking, or private equity Familiarity with valuation methodologies and market research techniques Passion for learning, curiosity about markets, and willingness to challenge conventional thinking What’s on Offer Competitive salary: £50,000–£60,000 Private health insurance, gym membership, mobile allowance A collaborative, high-performance environment Opportunities for professional development and career progression If you're passionate about using data to solve complex investment problems, and excited to work on transformative real estate projects—this is your chance to make an impact.
