About the job Solutions Architect (Finance) Location: Hybrid – London, Blackfriars Join us at Merlin Entertainments as we transform the future of digital guest experiences across our iconic global attractions. We are seeking a visionary Solutions Architect to help define the end to end design for financial systems in the organisation. You will contribute to the development of architectural principles and drive the technology strategy within the financial domain. This individual will need to bring forward experience of architecting technical systems and integrating with ERP systems in the financial area of a business. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Solution Development: Develop end-to-end solutions within the financial systems domain, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business objectives. Solution Design and Delivery: Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry standards. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with senior leadership and key business units to align with strategic initiatives. Agile Innovation: Evaluate emerging technologies and foster a culture of experimentation. Governance and Compliance: Provide oversight for projects/programmes, managing technical risks and ensuring adherence to enterprise standards. Skills and Competencies: Expertise in scalable solution design. Strong knowledge of modern technologies (e.g., cloud computing, microservices, APIs, DevOps). Ability to lead and inspire teams. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
