The role Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, the City Manager is a unique opportunity to become an integral member of the Italian Commercial team. You will build relationships with restaurant partners in your area, improve our value proposition for customers, and identify ways to sustain our rapid growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships and analyzing data to guide growth strategies. You will be based in Padova, Verona, or a nearby city. What You'll Do Become the local expert for your city(s), understanding the restaurant industry thoroughly and representing Deliveroo locally. Use data insights to enhance our customer offerings neighborhood by neighborhood. Manage top restaurant partners, leading negotiations and optimizing partner performance for growth. Coordinate with local account managers to promote local hero brands. Develop and implement city sign-up strategies, ensuring successful execution. Manage the city’s P&L, understanding key KPIs and influencing them. Map out local sales strategies, identifying gaps and focus areas. Enhance our local customer offering through knowledge of local market conditions, including restaurant selection and operations. Maximize marketing opportunities by encouraging restaurant participation. Requirements At least 4 years of experience in account/relationship management, sales, or strategy roles. Results-driven and target-oriented. Understanding and experience managing P&L. Business acumen and data-driven decision-making skills. Ability to work both in the field (2-3 days/week) and remotely.
