Scientific Officer - Front Desk Unit

We are looking for a Scientific Officer to work in the Front Desk Unit. Responsabilit Perform the completeness check of dossiers, Ensure compliance with SOPs and procedures, Liaise with the EFSA responsible for the task and the EFSA scientific Units, Draft and review the outputs of the checks, Communicate to applicants through the tools in place, Ensure proper document management via the dossier submission tools and case management software, Organise, coordinate and support both internal meetings and meetings with external participants, Prepare relevant materials. Functie-eisen Excellent knowledge of English (at least B2 or above), At least 1 year of experience in scientific coordination within international organisations, Academic background in the area of novel foods, nutrition, regulatory science, Behavioural competencies: ability to communicate effectively, ability to work in a team as well flexibility, ability to set priorities and to ensure deadlines are met, Proficiency in IT tools, standard office software and electronic management of documents and data. Assignment: initial contract of 3 months, with possibility of extension. Expected duration of assignment 12 months Salary: approx. €3702 per month before taxes Work modalities: office work is required on at least 2 days per week.
