The selected candidate will contribute to the development of software solutions in the aerospace and defense sector, taking part in all stages of the software lifecycle—from requirements analysis to final documentation. Main Responsibilities Software Requirements Analysis : understanding and breaking down functional and non-functional requirements to guide module development. C++ / Qt Development : design and implementation of software components with a focus on modularity, performance, and maintainability. Software Integration : integration of developed modules into a complete system, interface verification, and dependency management. Technical Documentation : drafting of technical specifications, manuals, and project reports in compliance with industry standards (e.g., MIL-STD-498). Linux OS Usage (intermediate level) : daily use of shell commands, diagnostic tools, basic scripting, and development environment management. Software Lifecycle Management : understanding of the development, testing, release, and maintenance phases in structured environments. Required Technical Skills C / C++ Programming : solid command of the languages for building high-performance desktop applications. Qt Framework : experience in developing GUI and software components using Qt. Linux OS : proficiency in development and debugging in Linux environments, including compilation tools and system management. MIL-STD-498 : familiarity with the standard for documentation and development processes in high-criticality projects. Preferred Skills Bash scripting and XML : ability to automate tasks and manage structured configuration files. IBM Toolchain (DOORS, Rhapsody, RQM, etc.) : experience with tools for requirements management, modeling, and testing. Microservices Architecture : basic understanding of distributed integration principles. Multithreading (POSIX) : ability to develop concurrent applications using threads, mutexes, and synchronization in Linux. Educational Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another STEM field (or equivalent qualification). Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and proactive attitude; Excellent communication and organizational skills; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; High motivation to grow professionally and learn new skills; Ability to interface directly with clients.
