Interim Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant £300–£400 per day | Outside IR35 Hybrid – Central London A private equity-backed retail business is seeking an immediately available Interim Financial Accountant to support the finance function during a key reporting cycle. The role requires a technically strong accountant with experience in financial reporting , audit preparation , and group consolidations . Experience in retail or hospitality is essential. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and reports Manage and reconcile the balance sheet , ensuring accuracy and integrity Support the year-end audit process , including preparation of schedules and liaising with auditors Produce and review group consolidated accounts Ensure compliance with statutory and group reporting requirements Assist in process improvements and documentation of financial controls Candidate Profile: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) Strong technical accounting background with experience in retail or hospitality Proven experience in financial accounting, audit, and external reporting Confident preparing group consolidations and liaising with auditors Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Available immediately or on short notice
