About The Position ID: 54915154 Shift: 3x12 Variable Shift Description: Job Specific Notes: OR RN Weekend Day ShiftBaylor Scott & White TempleOperating Room Nurse positionFulltime Weekend Day ShiftSaturday and Sunday required with one additional day during the week.Our team is training in each of our 13 different specialties (robotics, ortho, spine, neuro, cv, general/bariatrics, gyn, plastics, surgical oncology, urology, ENT, transplant). We provide additional training for our neuro and cardiac teams. We do a variety of open, laparoscopic, and robotic procedures in multiple service lines. We do multiple laser and microscope procedures. 33 operating rooms, 3 hybrid rooms used for neurovascular and vascular procedures. 4 Davinci robots, 2 Mako robots, and 1 Ion.We have excellent teamwork and collaboration among nursing staff, surgeons, residents and anesthesiaWe provide incredible care to our patients and get to be part of fascinating surgeries that are life changing for some of our patients. The RN uses the BSWH nursing model to coordinate patient care. Using the nursing process, the RN assesses the patient and identifies nursing diagnoses. The RN develops and implements an individualized care plan and evaluates the patient's response. The RN promotes safe passage for patients by using knowledge of patient needs. The RN helps patients transition through healthcare without preventable complications or delays.
