Le Massif Hotel & Lodge in Courmayeur, a member of the Leading Hotels of the World, offers 80 keys and nearby meeting facilities for up to 150 delegates. Sister properties part of the portfolio: Ambasciatori Palace, with 160 rooms, is the first Intercontinental brand of IHG in Italy, built in 1900 to host ambassadors in Rome. It has served as the American Embassy Library in 1946 and is located in the heart of Via Veneto, offering a blend of ancient history and modern sophistication. Anglo American Florence, with 118 rooms, is a historic hotel part of Curio Collection by Hilton, dating to the 19th century, located in a quiet area of central Florence, a 10-minute walk from Firenze Santa Maria Novella. The newest property of the group opened in 2024. Duo Milan Porta Nuova, with 239 rooms, features vibrant design and dynamic spaces that support coworking and socializing. JOB AIMS Our Financial team is seeking a Financial & Planning Analyst to join our IHC head office. You will work closely with all General Managers to support them and serve as the first point of contact for financial controlling, P&L analysis (revenue & costs), forecast, budget, and purchasing. Additionally, in coordination with the Director of Finance & Administration, you will act as a financial partner for the CEO and Managing Director. This position, which is intended to be middle or senior level, reports directly to the Director of Finance & Administration and is part of a team of 5 at the headquarters, including the Director, Financial Controller, Assistant Financial Controller, and Financial Assistant. The candidate will be Milan based. You will be required to attend approximately 50 business trips to meet with general managers and advise on financial matters. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The ideal candidate will engage with our Operational Management Team (General Managers) and Revenue Management team across all properties regarding financial issues. You will support hotels and the Director of Finance & Administration in budgeting and forecasting, conducting annual budgets, and ongoing financial tasks throughout the year. Key activities include: Preparation of annual budgets and monthly revised forecasts Preparation of monthly executive reports Independent monthly performance analysis of all hotels Establishment of KPIs for each hotel Ongoing detailed reviews of hotel performance against benchmarks, focusing on costs and profit margins Performance analysis against competitive set Weekly Business On the Book (BOB) reports with commentary Collaboration with ownership (Oaktree) on special projects Coordination with the head of development on projections and Investment Memoranda (IM) Supervision of warehouse purchasing Supervision and control of capex and FFE purchasing Preparation of capex and FFE reports Monthly sales reports and analysis Participation in special projects PERSONAL COMPETENCIES The successful candidate will demonstrate: Systematic planning, organization, and time management skills Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to develop positive relationships across all levels Conflict management and motivational skills Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities Innovative mindset and decision-making skills Responsibility, initiative, and continuous improvement Self-reliance and risk awareness Ability to think ahead and develop contingency plans Drive and determination to succeed Teamwork and collaboration skills Confidence in presenting and network-building abilities Adaptability to change and resilience JOB REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidate will have: A Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field At least 5 years of relevant experience, possibly in private equity, investment banking, hotel agencies, or hospitality Financial analysis and modeling experience (preferred) Experience preparing standard financial statements (preferred) Strong Excel skills Attention to detail and analytical mindset Independent thinking Mandatory Italian language skills and knowledge of English Experience Details: Employment Type: Full-Time Number of Vacancies: 1 J-18808-Ljbffr
