Job Description

Location: Vergiate, Italy Thales people architect solutions that enable two-thirds of planes to take off and land safely. Vergiate hosts the Avionics (AWS) domain, which handles: Front desk reparations for civil and military operators Support on ground and in flight Technical support for aircraft developers, operators, and maintenance centers Job Objective The Deputy Compliance Monitoring Manager for Thales Italia S.p.A. - Avionics Domain and Avionics Global Services in Vergiate will collaborate with the Vergiate Quality Manager. The role involves maintaining aeronautical certifications for the Vergiate site, such as EASA Part-145, FAA Part 145, TCCA CAR 573, CAA UK Part 145, and ensuring proper application of processes and standards. Additionally, the role provides operational support to the Maintenance Manager concerning industrialization activities and data management. Key Responsibilities Monitor the continuous application of site processes Conduct internal audits and support audits by relevant authorities for certification surveillance, renewal, and acquisition Maintain the Safety Management System (SMS) documentation Ensure quality assurance for support activities Manage non-conformities (customer claims, incoming materials) and implement corrective actions Support technical activities, including updates and communication of maintenance documentation and management of tools and resources in the repair station Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Engineering degree in Aerospace, Electronics, Mechanical, or related disciplines Successful experience in aeronautical activities, particularly EASA Part 145 or Part 21 Knowledge of quality and safety management systems in aeronautics Languages: Fluent Italian and English; French is a plus Teamwork and adaptability Skills in electronics and mechanics are advantageous Proficiency in Office Suite Soft skills: rigorous, autonomous, communicative, reactive, proactive, curious, synthesizing, flexible This position is open to candidates from protected categories as per Italian Law 68/99.
