Job Opportunity Join the team and take the opportunity to be part of the energy transition in Mexico. We are looking for a M&A Analyst to join the Zuma Team. General Objective of the Position Performing evaluations of investment opportunities in new projects through acquisitions, performing financial modeling for economic/financial valuation of investment opportunities, preparation of investment approval application materials, as well as support and follow-up of Due Diligence processes required for the acquisition of projects. Updating financial models and calculating required metrics of operating project credit agreements. Supporting cash flow planning for both operating and corporate projects by calculating and implementing project distributions, as well as seeking and obtaining working capital financing. Main responsibilities Perform financial models that iterate all the variables that affect the value of the project, obtaining from the seller the base information of the project, complementing with market studies and valuation parameters of the shareholders; through the preparation of financial statements that reflect the convergence of the variables in the long term and in coordination with the Director of Structured Finance and the Development area, make adjustments to the model to obtain the estimated value of the project to be included in the offers. Preparation of bid/investment approval request materials in conjunction with the Development area, following the shareholder's parameters. Update each quarter the financial models of the projects with the current results to evaluate the impact on the expected returns and have the tool to evaluate the economic impact of different variables that may affect the returns of the projects. Coordinate short-term cash flow models to track project cash management and calculate distributions to shareholders. Perform corporate level cash flow projections and obtain working capital financing. Participate in the Due Diligence process of investment opportunities in coordination with the Structured Finance Director and the Development area, evaluating the economic feasibility of the project in order to issue a purchase recommendation. Evaluate the financial impact of the projects by performing iterations of the different financing options and debt restructuring, in order to know the options that maximize the value of the project. Job Profile Education: Bachelor's degree Professional Area: Development, Finance, M&A, Strategy Consulting Minimum Required Experience: 2 experience in financial modeling preferably in the energy sector, having participated in M&A and financing processes.
