Senior Certified Home Health Aide - Ready for next career Move?

Job Description Job Description We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals in the comfort of their homes. Duties - Provide assistance with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing - Assist clients with mobility and physical therapy exercises - Support with medications reminders according to prescribed schedules - Prepare and serve nutritious meals while considering dietary restrictions - Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment - Document client progress and care provided in medical records Requirements - Prior experience in patient care, memory care, caregiving, dementia care, or related fields is preferred - Ability to cook and assist with meal preparation - Proficiency in medication administration and medical documentation - Knowledge of home health practices and protocols - Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor - Certification as a Home Health Aide (CHHA) or completion of a formal training program is a plus Qualifications -High school diploma or equivalent -Must have completed a homemaker home health aide training program approved by the NJ Board of Nursing and shall be certified by the Board and provide evidence of certification. -Must be free from health problems that may be injurious to patient, self, and co-workers and must present appropriate evidence to substantiate this -Must comprehend the basics of personal care, housekeeping, and meal preparation -Must understand, and respect, clients, including ethics and confidentiality of care -Must have current CPR certification Company Description At Ikigai, our mission is to provide families with the care their loved ones deserve, all within the comfort of their own home.
