Opportunity Details Medicus is collaborating with a hospital in the Outer Banks of North Carolina with an opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to assist their team with short-term locum Hospitalist coverage. Opportunity Highlights: Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 2p-10p, specific dates No call required Daily Census: 17-21 total inpatients, 8-10 patients per APP, 9-13 admissions Duties: Admissions, consults, co-management of ED holds and admitted patients Team Structure: 2 hospitalist physicians, 4 APPs Comprehensive Support Staff: General surgery, emergency medicine, OB/GYN, cardiology, orthopedics, ENT, primary care, and oncology EMR: Epic Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses In your time off, go fishing off of coastal piers, explore hiking trails in a maritime forest, and relax on sunny beaches.
