Information: All travelers are required to float, while on the interview please inform traveler of the Methodist Floating Policy Unit Specifics - Information below is requested for better sourcing: Documentation system: Meditech Floating policy: As needed Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role) Must have BLS At least 2 years of Experience ONCOLOGY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED CANCER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED EXPERIENCE WITH MEDIPORTS/PICCS/CENTRAL LINES Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first) Chemotherapy Certified 5/11/18: Preferred but not required Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN) Active TX RN License-Temp License are no longer accepted Procedures performed on unit: Chemotherapy administration CHG Baths, including the central lines and dressings Central line, mediport access and lab draws Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. Scrub Color o RN: Navy scrubs Nail Policy Clean and Healthy Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed Tattoos Body art should be covered whenever possible.
