A great opportunity to join as a Director of Finance at a Luxury 5 star hotel in Venice Requirements Remote work opportunities What you Bring: Relevant Qualification or experience in Accounting, Finance Prior experience as a Financial Controller or equivalent Experience in Hospitality/Luxury hotels essential Excellent communication skills in Italian and English Effective management, leadership, organization, communication and presentation skills Primary Responsibilities: · overseeing all sales, purchasing, salaries and expenses · Implementing and reviewing financial policies · Audit compliance including actioning recommendations and liaising with internal stakeholders · Production of monthly financial reporting GAAP · Overseeing budgeting & forecasting process and long term planning · Monthly and annual reporting Responsible for monitoring budgets and for reporting major deviations of over-expenditure, under-budgeting or non-compliance to the approved budget Business partner with the General Manager implementing controls, solutions, and action plans Assist the General Manager in establishing local policies, rules, internal controls and safeguards that ensure profitability and control of operations Advise and provide counsel to the General Manager, HODs and finance teams on all financial matters Treasury & Tax Treasury management, cash planning, reviewing the cash position to optimize the use of funds and minimize the volume of cash being held in the business Review all changes of tax laws and accounting policies, assess their implications on the business and ensure the finance team implements appropriate changes Only Shortlisted Candidates will be Contacted Check Your Resume for Match Upload your resume and our tool will compare it to the requirements for this job like recruiters do.
