About The Job Based at Mandarin Oriental, Milan within the Sales Department, the Sales Manager - Middle East oversees the hotel’s sales strategy for the Middle Eastern market. The role reports to the Sales Director. Key Responsibilities: Meet and entertain influential clients, ensuring follow-up on discussed details. Organize and deliver familiarization site inspections for major clients. Work closely with key contacts and seek new business to meet financial targets. Attend trade shows, industry meetings to identify market opportunities. Plan and execute sales trips to key markets and identify new opportunities. Develop and implement sales & marketing strategies to maximize room revenues in the Middle East. Respond to inquiries from the Middle Eastern market. Collaborate with regional sales offices and third-party organizations to maximize sales. Promote other Mandarin Oriental properties and distribute sales leads. Attend weekly sales meetings and monitor competitor activities. Candidate Profile: Proven track record in the Middle East luxury hospitality segment. Passionate about luxury experiences, with excellent rapport-building skills. Detail-oriented, diligent, adaptable to changing priorities. Proficient in computer applications. Capable of working under pressure, maintaining composure. Excellent organizational skills in a dynamic environment. Established network of industry contacts. Strong negotiation and customer relationship skills. Willing to travel internationally. Minimum 5 years of sales experience in a 5-star hotel environment. Fluent in Italian and English.
