Hotel Financial Controller We are seeking a dedicated Financial Controller to oversee all financial operations. This role is crucial for ensuring all financial procedures are in place and adhered to, supporting decision-making processes, and driving profitability. Day-to-day of the role: Oversee all financial activities and operations of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, analysing, and reporting. Work closely with senior management to provide critical financial insights that support decision-making and drive profitability. Ensure accurate and timely production of monthly and annual financial statements. Lead the preparation of annual budgets, manage cash flow, and conduct variance analysis. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting financial trends, risks, and opportunities. Manage payroll processing for all employees. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and tax obligations. Manage the accounting team, providing leadership, training, and performance reviews. Drive cost control initiatives to improve profitability. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in financial management within the hospitality industry (or similar industry). Strong understanding of financial operations, accounting principles, and financial reporting. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficient in financial software and advanced Excel skills. Strong leadership abilities with experience managing a team.
