Director of Housekeeping

Position: Director of Housekeeping Location: Toscana Join L in Toscana, part of an international hotel chain, as our Director of Housekeeping . You will oversee the standards and performance of the housekeeping team to ensure high levels of excellence in suites, villas, and public areas of the resort. Key responsibilities include: Supervising daily cleaning operations and ensuring effective communication for operational issues. Conducting regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and maintenance standards in accordance with resort guidelines and brand service standards. Demonstrating financial acumen by preparing forecasts, monitoring daily reports, and controlling expenses within the department budget without compromising service quality. Aiming for service excellence by incorporating guest satisfaction into team meetings and focusing on continuous improvement. Promoting positive relationships with the Front Office through effective communication and collaboration. Assessing staffing levels based on business demand and recommending adjustments when necessary. Monitoring and managing team performance through supervision, professional development, coaching, and counseling. Previous experience in a luxury resort setting. Proven managerial skills in people management, strategic planning, and decision-making. High organization skills, results-oriented, with excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities. Effective communication skills, capable of providing clear, concise, and professional guidance both verbally and in writing. Fluent in English and Italian, both spoken and written.
