Residential Direct Support Professional

Job Description Job Description Ohana Community is looking for reliable and caring individuals to join our team in assisting individuals with activities of daily living in their residential setting. Ohana Community provides residential and community support to individuals with Intellectual Disabilities and Autism. As a DSP with Ohana Community, job responsibilities include: Providing direct support to individuals in the home and community setting Assisting and encouraging clients to meet their individual goals Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment Transportation to day programs, community outings, and appointments as needed (mileage reimbursement/company car) Assisting and documenting medication administration Completing initial and annual trainings such as CPR, Medication Administration, NADSP, and specific trainings on clients Communicating with team members via company email Completing documentation to maintain compliance with ODP regulatory guidelines Assisting with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, cooking, meal preparation, cleaning, basic upkeep of the home and personal care of the clients. Company Description Ohana Community is fully licensed and insured to provide residential ID/D services in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Ohana Community staff receive extensive training before beginning work in our residential homes, as well as 24 hours of additional training each year. They also undergo a criminal background check, physical examination, and tuberculosis testing to ensure they are free of any communicable diseases.
