Job Responsibilities: Assist a higher-grade cook in preparing cold sandwiches, hot and cold dips. Obtain, open, and heat ingredients from canned vegetables or fresh fruits. Mix dressings, sauces, garnishes, and add to salads. Prepare desserts such as parfaits, sundaes, and cakes. Assist in grilling meats and fish, monitoring cooking process. Prepare food by peeling, chopping, grinding, and slicing. Weigh, measure, and assemble ingredients for various menu items. Store leftovers properly and follow safety procedures. Follow recipes to minimize waste and ensure quality. Cook and serve quick-prep foods like hamburgers, eggs, pizzas, etc. Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain cleanliness. Set up food service areas, refill condiments, and assist in serving food. Additional Notes: Must be able to lift items weighing up to 30 pounds. Work schedule rotates weekly, including weekends and holidays, with specified hours. Includes a 1-hour unpaid lunch break. Qualifications: Ability to work independently. Maintaining neatness and cleanliness. Technical skills and knowledge of materials. Ability to interpret instructions and operate tools safely. Knowledge of HACCP food safety standards (must obtain certification before starting). Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
