Duties and Responsibilities Assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the following: Check guest profiles and history prior to arrival; be familiar with all information. Notify concerned departments of guest arrivals and ensure they have the guests’ preferences and history. Coordinate transfer requests and assist guests with transportation if needed. Prepare arrival amenities such as welcome letters, champagne, shoe bags, cold towels, and welcome drinks. Offer welcome drinks and cold towels upon guest arrival. Escort guests throughout the resort as needed. Recommend, plan, schedule, and arrange activities during the stay based on guest preferences. Know fire & safety procedures and exits. Upsell resort, spa, LIFE, and restaurant facilities. Maintain cleanliness and good condition of department equipment. Uphold Six Senses standards of service and operations, exceeding performance benchmarks. Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest feedback. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; at least 1 year of experience in a similar luxury hotel role. Hospitality diploma/degree preferred. Technical skills include MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with hotel systems like POS, PMS, and CRM platforms. Excellent guest service knowledge. Fluent in Italian and proficient in English. Eligible to work in Italy (EU passport required). This overview provides the main responsibilities for a GEM at Six Senses Rome.
