The Role We are looking for a Business Development Manager based in Ancona . This is a rare opportunity to become a founding and key member of a growing, well-funded startup. You will collaborate with Italy's most premium and regarded restaurants. As part of the regional sales team, you will report to the Sales Lead, focusing on developing new relationships with restaurants. Responsibilities include: Mapping, prospecting, pitching, and closing new restaurants across your region in an organized manner, becoming a city-level expert including knowing emerging restaurants and customer favorites. Supporting partners in joining Deliveroo and providing the best experience to them. Communicating (via physical visits, email, calls, or social media) with restaurants to demonstrate Deliveroo technology. Helping restaurant owners/managers overcome barriers or hesitations. Attending restaurant and food meet-ups. Requirements Comfort with targeting new business and prior sales experience. Confidence and experience in dealing with partners/customers face-to-face, via phone, or email. Ability to demonstrate product and industry knowledge to clients. Comfort with negotiations.
