As our Café Supervisor & Chef, you'll lead by example, inspire the team, and go the extra mile-both front and back of house-to create an atmosphere that feels like home. Your key areas of responsibility: Team leadership - supporting and inspiring both the café and kitchen teams, taking ownership of smooth daily operations Coaching and development - sharing your knowledge openly, helping the team grow their understanding of our menu and service standards Operational support - assisting with food service, managing deliveries, stock, and quality control, as well as opening and closing procedures Customer experience - keeping the café spotless and running smoothly, always doing that little extra to make every visit memorable Quality control - ensuring every dish and drink is prepared and served to our exacting recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards You'll bring experience supervising a small hospitality team, ideally in a busy café environment and exceptional organisational skills with a natural passion for food and service. We're looking for someone that demonstrates natural enthusiasm, energy, and excellent communication skills. You'll ideally bring a strong understanding of food safety and health & safety standards would be a fantastic bonus. You'll need the ability to work flexibility across weekdays and weekends-our café is open seven days a week.
