Seeking a skilled and enthusiastic BC/BE Vitreoretinal Surgeon to join our team of six Retina Physicians just northwest of Boston. Highlights/Details: Join a collegial and supportive retina team of six doctors (five surgeons, one medical retina physician, and a uveitis specialist) Provide outstanding care to local, national, and international patients Teach fellows (two per year in our AUPO-compliant fellowship) and residents Opportunity for academic appointments See patients at two main clinics and surrounding private practices Perform surgeries in our state-of-the-art ambulatory operating room Maintain accurate medical records and document patient progress Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals Commitment to global health (past outreach in Turkey, Egypt, and Tanzania) Interest in uveitis is a plus, but not required About the Ophthalmology Department: Dynamic and busy service with 16 ophthalmologists and 8 optometrists. Participation in the Tufts/New England Eye Center Ophthalmology Residency program.
