Chef | Sookholme, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire | Full Time | £28,500 to £30,000 per annum Our client is a family-run restaurant serving a wide range of meals from Sunday lunches to weddings, party nights, private functions, buffets, afternoon teas and lots in between. They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join their fast-paced kitchen, responsible for preparing and serving hot starters and main courses. Are you the right person for the job? Minimum 5 years of experience in a professional kitchen Experience with banqueting and function catering is highly desirable Own transport and a valid UK driving licence are essential due to our rural location You must have the right to work in the UK Strong knowledge of food hygiene and allergen regulations Maintains a high standard of personal hygiene Ability to think on your feet and work well under pressure Excellent teamwork and communication skills What will your role look like? Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are consistently followed in the kitchen Supervise kitchen staff and manage food production to maintain quality and efficiency Collaborate with team members to create a positive dining experience for our customers Maintain kitchen equipment and work areas, ensuring cleanliness and organisation What's next?
